CHRIS BLAIR, Founder
Chris is the Founder of Candivan. He is a Bay Area filmmaker, producer, improviser, and teacher. In 2010 he co-founded Endgames Improv, San Francisco’s most popular comedy improv company. He is also a creator and a player in the Bay Area’s sell-out improv show Your F****ked Up Relationship which has been running every Friday for the past six years. He is the creator of several film productions, including the web series, Tragedy Club. He also currently teaches at Endgames Improv and at UC Berkeley. Some of his favorite shows include the Wire, Breaking Bad, Master of None, Seinfeld, Black Mirror, and Nathan for You.
Julia is the chief of product at Candivan, she leads marketing, product and operations. She has 10 years experience as a tech product marketer. She founded Women Uninterrupted in 2015, a storytelling platform for women where she drives marketing and content. She is also a pop-surrealist painter, improviser, and runs a cocktail blog. Julia graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelors in Media & Communication and has certificates in Marketing and Product Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business and Product School.
Some of her favorite shows include GIRLS, Insecure, The Wire, Mad Men, The West Wing, The Sopranos, Big Little Lies, and Master of None.
Frank moved to the Bay Area in 2003, and has been editing professionally ever since. In 2006 he edited his first feature film, and has since won multiple awards across a plethora of formats and genres, including Best Feature, Best Editing, and Best Sound Design. Frank has taught fundamental sound design, and given presentations of various sorts at Adobe in San Francisco. Some of his favorite shows include Black Mirror, South Park, House of Cards, Tales from the Crypt, American Horror Story, Game of Thrones, the Sopranos, Rome, and, of course, Chad Vader.
Jessica is a filmmaker, producer, and actor based in San Francisco. Loving all things creative, she can sometimes also be found composing music or painting. Having graduated from U.C. Berkeley with minors in Theater and Music, she is also an alumni of American Conservatory Theater’s (A.C.T.) Summer Training Congress. With experience working in theater, film, and commercial work, she's excited to help talented writers, storytellers, and makers of things launch their web television series!
